Conversations
Closed conversations filtering and querying
To improve All Work's effectiveness, users can no longer filter closed and non-closed conversations together in All Work. Instead, the closed and non-closed conversations are now placed separately in dedicated views. Find more info here.
Recordings composed files
Offering account-based configuration for the type of the recordings file composition. From now on, clients can choose to store recordings as separate call legs or a single unified file.
Preview recording permission
Agents can now preview their recordings directly from a conversation due to a change in access limitations for recordings.
Player seek option
This release introduces the seek option on audio/video player and full Safari coverage.
Custom transfer music and message configuration
Users can now set up customized transfer messages and music to ensure that client flow is flawless and consistent with their company brand preferences.
Follow-up conversations
EARLY-ACCESS
This feature will be released as Early Access.
Agents can now create follow-up conversations directly from closed conversations to simply manage related topics.
Moments
Lists in Moments
This month we are pleased to announce that you can now use Lists in Moments.
Lists are a type of custom attribute that represents a group of items with the same structure that is defined and stored in person profiles. For example, shopping lists, doctors' appointments, or lists of services or products that a person has contracted with a company, and much more.
You can then use list data to trigger your Flows, segment your audience, and also personalize your message content.
No longer do you inefficiently need to create separate custom attributes for each 'item'. By grouping the items into lists you can use Flow to efficiently act on new items created or updates to existing items depending on your scenario. For example, to notify a customer about an upcoming payment to one loan of multiple loans that they may have with a company (stored as list items), or to notify a user regarding when a doctors appointment (stored as a list item) is created.
People
List API
As part of the wider Lists improvements this month, we have made the People API even more powerful. Moments customers can also leverage the new List API to create, read, update, and delete list attributes and individual list items in People programmatically.
Messages API
One API for Multiple Messaging Channels
EARLY-ACCESS
The Messages API is a robust solution that integrates multiple messaging channels into one interface. Instead of using a separate API for each messaging channel, use only one API for all your channels.
In the Messages API, all channels use the same endpoint. So, you can send and receive messages, and perform other actions in the same manner for all the channels. Thus, you can streamline your messaging services.
Also, after you integrate one channel, you can easily integrate other channels without additional integration effort.
With the Messages API, you can improve your customer engagement by delivering personalized messages across multiple channels. You can also automate your messaging workflows, which reduces manual work and increases efficiency.
In the Early Access release, the Messages API supports SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp with limited functionality.
To access the Messages API and to get more information about the product, contact your Infobip account manager.
Display Conditions
Display conditions let you adjust the email content shown to the recipients based on a set of specific conditions. It enables tailored messages to each recipient when a single message is sent to an audience.
Simple Expressions
Simple expression is a feature that allows you to manipulate any personalization that you include in a message.
It is based on the data type of the attribute being inserted. You can shows expressions like "proper case" or "lower case" on string attributes, and "round" or "format" on numeric attributes.
Simple expressions ensure that all attributes are shown properly and consistently, regardless of how they are stored in the system.
Syntax for Template Language
This release introduces the use of the new template language for sending email with dynamic content. The new template language is based on Liquid.
For more information, see Send Emails With Dynamic Content.
MMS
Group MMS Messaging
Group MMS messaging expands the MMS API to include the option to send to groups of recipiencts. The benefit of this feature is that you can create a group conversation with multiple people where everyone sees who is in the chat and can reply.
Group MMS messaging is an extremely powerful tool for businesses to communicate across a wider audience, is easy to implement, and supports additional images.
With MMS groups, you can exchange ordinary text messages between a group of three or more people. Each participant has a unique, identifiable phone number, and they can read and reply to messages with the entire group.
Currently, Group MMS Messaging works over long numbers (10DLC).
Broadcast
New improved visual interface which enables easier and faster creation of campaigns.
A/B testing is being discontinued as the new feature with better functionality is in development.
Sender Quality API
This is a new feature that allows customers better insight into overall quality of their senders. Rating is based on the recent messages that end-users have received over the past seven days. This rating is determined by the feedback from end-users.
