Qatar Letter of Authorization (LOA) guidelines

This page is created to address and answer the most frequently asked questions about the registration requirements for Qatar and how to complete the Letter of Authorization (LOA).

Two networks in Qatar support local and international traffic:

  • Ooredoo (Q-Tel)
  • Vodafone Qatar

Registration requirements

This section provides information about the requirements for registering senders in Qatar, which vary based on whether they are local or international senders. To register your senders in Qatar, please follow and submit the requirements below depending on the senders' traffic origin.

Before you proceed to the document requirements, prepare the following details, as they will be needed for registration with telco in addition to the document:

  • Company name
  • Company website
  • Company address
  • Company headquarters
  • Purpose

Local senders registration

A local sender operates within Qatar and targets recipients located within the country. However, the company's HQ must be in Qatar to register the sender as local.

To proceed with the registration, download and prepare the following documents:

After you download the templates, follow the below guides and fill in the yellow highlighted fields by completely replacing each field with your information. If a field is not highlighted, do not change it.

NOC letter - from client to Infobip

  1. Company letterhead.
  2. Date when the LOA was filled out.
  3. Company name.
  4. Company registration number.
  5. Fill out the based on your company and representative details. Additionally, fill out the table with sender names you want to register and their details.
  6. Representative signature with company stamp.

NOC letter - from client to Qatar Ooredoo

  1. Date when the LOA was filled out.
  2. Company name.
  3. Company registration number and country. It should be Qatar since it is a local registration.
  4. Fill out the table with sender names you want to register and their details.
  5. Representative signature with company stamp.

International senders registration

The international sender operates outside Qatar but the target recipients are located within Qatar. There are different LOA templates per network.

To proceed with the registration, download the following documents:

Once all requirements and documents are completed, you can:

  • Direct customers (end customers) - start the Sender ID registration process here (opens in a new tab), and click the Request Sender button under Alphanumeric Sender ID. Provide the necessary details and submit the request.
  • Wholesales/partner - contact [email protected] and your dedicated account manager, and provide the documents along with the required sender information.
