Oman Letter of Authorization (LOA) guidelines

Registration requirements

This section provides information about the requirements for registering senders in Oman, which vary based on whether they are local or international senders. To register your senders in Oman, please follow and submit the requirements below depending on the senders' traffic origin.

Sender requirements

• Generic senders are not allowed.
• Special characters are not allowed.
• All promotional senders must have the "AD-" prefix - e.g., AD-XXXX and the sender name must not exceed 11 characters, including the prefix.
• Sender names are unique on the MNO. This means variations of the same sender name are not allowed, e.g., Infobip and INFOBIP.
• The sender's name must match the company name, otherwise, the MNO may request a trademark certificate to verify the connection between the company and the sender.

Before you proceed to the document requirements, prepare the following details, as they will be needed for registration with telco in addition to the document:

• Company name
• Company website
• Type of traffic
• Traffic origin
• Use case description
• Content sample
• Industry
• Company address
• Headquarters address
• Estimated monthly volume
• Contact mobile number
• Contact email

Local senders registration

Local sender operates within Oman and targets recipients located within the country.

To proceed with the registration, download and prepare the following documents:

• Local Oman trade license (CR)
• Chamber of Commerce card
• Oman LOA (opens in a new tab)

• Oman NOC letter local (opens in a new tab)

After you download the templates, follow the below guides and fill in the highlighted fields by completely replacing each field with your information. If a field is not highlighted, do not change it.

Oman LOA

1. Sender name you want to register, traffic type and the content sample.
2. Trade license number.
3. Signature of an authorized representative and their details.

NOC Ooredoo local

1. Company letterhead.
2. Sender ID you want to register.
3. Complete the table with your company details and Sender ID details.
4. Complete the table with the authorized representative details together with the signature and company stamp.

NOC letter local

1. Company letterhead.
2. Sender name you want to register.
3. Company name.
4. Complete the table with your company details and names of the senders you wish to register, along with their respective details. Please ensure the LOA has the signature of the authorized person with the company stamp.

International senders registration

The international sender operates outside Oman but the target recipients are located within Oman.

To proceed with the registration, download the following documents:

After you download the templates, follow the below guides and fill in the highlighted fields by completely replacing each field with your information. If a field is not highlighted, do not change it.

Omantel NOC

1. Company seal.
2. Date when the LOA was filled out.
3. Company name.
4. Complete the table with the names of the senders you wish to register, along with their respective details.
5. Signature of the authorized representative and their details.
6. Company stamp.

NOC letter international

1. Company logo.
2. Complete the table with the names of the senders you wish to register, along with their respective details.
3. Signature of an authorized representative and their details with the company stamp.

Once all requirements and documents are completed, you can:

• Direct customers (end customers) - start the Sender ID registration process here (opens in a new tab), and click the Request Sender button under Alphanumeric Sender ID. Provide the necessary details and submit the request.
