Getting started
Before you can get started with setting up Conversations over API per your preferences, there are some prerequisites that you need to complete first:
- Create an Infobip account (opens in a new tab).
- No credit card information is needed. Read our Service terms and conditions (opens in a new tab) and Policies (opens in a new tab) before you proceed.
- Enable Conversations API for your account. To enable this solution, contact our Sales team (opens in a new tab) or your dedicated account manager.
- Enable communication channels you want to use with Conversations API (note that Live Chat is available by default).
- Configure senders.

Product setup
Note that you cannot configure Conversations API yourself, you need to contact your dedicated account manager to set it up. After setting up Conversations API, you can create users and agents (add roles for agents and supervisors).
You can create and maintain queues (opens in a new tab) and routing (opens in a new tab) either via API or the web interface.
