Direct Connection to Claro Colombia Established
Infobip has been present in Colombia with a local office since 2011, and a direct A2P SMS connection to Claro, will open the doors to more joint business opportunities with Colombia’s number one mobile operator.
With a market share of over 50%, América Móvil-owned Claro is Colombia’s undisputed market leader, and is looking to further enhance its portfolio of enterprise and value-added A2P SMS services.
A direct connection deal with Infobip is the first step towards extending the partnership into new areas where Infobip is uniquely positioned to bring benefits to Claro as well as Colombia’s enterprise and value added services market.
With the direct connection to Claro, Infobip now has direct connections to all mobile network operators in Colombia, adding to the total tally of 350+ direct A2P SMS connections to mobile operators worldwide.
