Zalo
Overview

Zalo

Zalo is a communication channel for businesses, press, and government agencies that are based in Vietnam to convey information and communicate with customers.

Use Zalo Notification Service (ZNS) to send customer-centric and personalized notifications, alerts, and reminders from your Zalo Official Account. Example: booking confirmation, banking transaction alert, online order status update, and payment reminder.

Infobip provides you the required services to communicate with customers through Zalo.

For one-way communication, use Zalo Notification Service (ZNS) to send informative messages using pre-approved templates. This service is available only over API (opens in a new tab).

Technical specifications

Zalo Notification Service (ZNS) supports MSISDN (phone numbers). The Infobip standalone Zalo API enables you to use ZNS to send notifications to Zalo phone numbers. The connection to Infobip services uses firewalled in-house servers or API connections.

Zalo technical specifications

The advantage of using Zalo over API is that it enables you to have a failover in place if Zalo messages do not reach your customers. You can set up SMS as a fallback option to make sure that important communications are delivered to your customers if the customers are not connected to the internet or do not have the Zalo app installed.
